Fasteo Steam Output
Beyond the practicality, the Tefal Fasteo SV6040 steam generator provides efficient ironing experience. It offers up to 100 Gms /minute steam output and 5.2 bars pump pressure, for easier fabric. This pressure allows the steam to penetrate into the heart of the material fibres. A turbo steam, up to 180 Gms/minute, will also contribute to make light work of difficult and stubborn creases.
The steam output of an iron is indicated in grams per minute (g/min), so the higher the output, the more steam is generated to tackle creases. Also the more powerful the iron, the deeper the steam will penetrate fabric for quicker, hassle-free ironing and excellent results, no matter the fabric.
Safety is a key priority for Tefal. The Fasteo SV6040 Steam Generator features an Auto-Off feature, so that your appliance automatically tuns off when you leave it unattended. If left on its heel it will switch off in 8 minutes. If left on the soleplate or on the side, it only takes 30 seconds before the iron shuts off.
Generators are divided into two categories: steam generators and high pressure steam generators. Steam generators are tackling bigger loads faster, with a larger water tank than a traditional steam iron for greater autonomy and filter-based anti-scale system. In addition of being more efficient, a steam generator is also more practical, it has an easy-storage base suggesting a bigger steam chamber.
Tefal owes its origins to Frenchman Marc Grégoire, an engineer and keen fisherman. Monsieur Grégoire wanted the reel on his rod to run more smoothly, and experimented in the 1950s to see if a non-stick coating would work. It did, but it was his wife Collette who made the real breakthrough, suggesting the coating would be more useful in making cookware easier to use and clean. Tefal remains committed to making household tasks easier and cooking results better, through a constant flow of new ideas, technology and innovation. Tefal’s linen care range offers innovative features, ensuring your ironing is quicker, easier and hassle free – cutting your ironing time in half.
